Maria Castaldo is a researcher in Computation Social Science and Complex Systems at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Her research interests include network and opinion dynamics, social networks, manipulation of online information and social bots. She is part of the Center of Internet and Society in Paris and of the Gipsa-lab in Grenoble.
She co-teaches the course of Réseaux Sociaux Appliqués at Sorbonne University.
